– Now also available as Online Event Via Zoom
It is becoming increasingly more difficult to teach the Holocaust to the younger generations and preserve its memory.
In this Film Event we will explore whether it is possible to teach about the Holocaust in a novel way, one that includes humor? Can the younger generation be brought closer to deep and painful issues from another perspective? Is it possible to talk about tragedy from a place of hope?
During the presentation, in one film, we will meet a Holocaust survivor who danced throughout his time in concentration camps and this saved his life.
In another film, we will meet a professor whose expertise is in leaders of totalitarian regimes, when the beginning of Sabbath catches him unprepared.
- This encounter is also suitable for Yom HaShoah – Holocaust Remembrance Day events.
